The Court of Cassation puts online free and publicly a large database of court decisions, previously anonymized. This database does not contain all French court decisions. On the one hand, it does not cover the administrative jurisdiction (disputes with an administration or a public service) and, on the other hand, the dissemination of decisions depends on the anonymization schedule.
In July 2026, this database mainly contains the items below.
Keyword search in French jurisprudence is only available in the French version of the website
User manual Enter a brief description of your dispute below using French keywords separated by spaces, with the text «operator=and» at the end of the entry. If this text is not specified, the search will combine the keywords with OR rather than AND. If a search item is a multi-word expression, the expression must be enclosed in quotation marks.
