It's the biggest event of the quarter.
The National Mediation Council has submitted its final report to the Minister of Justice. It contains 75 recommendations aimed at improving mediation in France.
The main areas of focus are:
- the creation of a genuine national quality framework; ;
- strengthening initial and continuing training for mediators; ;
- clarification of ethical guidelines; ;
- improving public information; ;
- expansion of alternative dispute resolution and court-based mediation; ;
- better coordination among the various MARDs.
The report also emphasizes the need to develop a «reflux toward amicable resolution» before taking any matter to court.
