Tools that are purely administrative or ancillary in nature may not fall under this classification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main requirements relate to risk management, data quality, traceability, documentation, cybersecurity, and, above all, the <strong>effective human oversight<\/strong>. A judge cannot simply serve as a validator of an algorithmic response. <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/eli\/reg\/2024\/1689\/oj\/eng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">European Regulation on AI<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu\/en\/policies\/regulatory-framework-ai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Commission's official calendar<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Point to watch: a so-called European project <strong>\u00abDigital Omnibus on AI\u00bb<\/strong> envisages simplifications and certain adjustments to the timeline, but it remains necessary to distinguish this proposal from the law currently in effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h3>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The essentials of Regulation (EU) 2024\/1689 \u2014 the AI Act become applicable on August 2, 2026.
