After the hearing, the judge considers the case, and the judgment is rendered a few weeks later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The judge may try to reconcile the parties' points of view before ruling on the dispute. If an agreement is reached, it can be recorded in a settlement report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The registry then serves the judgment on the parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alice and Bob take note:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>of the decision; ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>any sums potentially granted; ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>appeal deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If Bob voluntarily complies with the decision, the matter is settled.
