Only the judge decides the case, unless the parties reach an agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With regard to consumer matters, the business must provide access to a consumer ombudsman following a prior written complaint: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/codes\/article_lc\/LEGIARTI000032226885\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Article L. 612-1 of the Consumer Code<\/a>.
